Blessing Foundation welcomes three new members to Board of Trustees

QUINCY — Laura Gramke, Jacob Scholz and Mark Stephens have joined the Blessing Foundation Board of Trustees.

Gramke is a full-time mother of four, a volunteer at her children’s school and self-employed part-time in real estate hospitality. Gramke is a graduate of Culver Stockton College with a degree in elementary education.

Scholz, an attorney, is a partner in the firm of Scholz and Scholz, LLP, and an assistant state’s attorney in Adams County. He earned his law degree from the Northern Illinois University College of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree from Culver Stockton College. He volunteers with the Quincy Catholic Elementary Schools Foundation, Quincy Notre Dame Annual Fund Campaign Cabinet, St. Peter School Wilhelm Johnson Scholz STEM Lab Committee and the Illinois State Bar Association Traffic Laws and Courts Section Council.

Stephens is an owner/partner in Feed Marketing Advisors and a graduate of Hannibal-LaGrange College. Stephens’ other volunteer service includes mentoring at Denman Elementary School, Horizons Social Services and United Way of Adams County.

Completing their service on the Blessing Foundation Board of Trustees are Phyllis Hofmeister after 22 years, Bo Knapheide after 10 years and Jim Rinella after 9 years.

The Blessing Foundation raises, manages and distributes charitable donations on behalf of Blessing Health System and the services it provides, and the people who receive those services.
