Male subject arrested in Hannibal for patronizing prostitution, drug possession

A warrant was issued Wednesday in the 10^th Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County charging Brandon S. Blue, 38, of Holliday, Mo., with patronizing prostitution, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

The arrest was a result of an investigation by a detective assigned to the Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad after Blue was seeking sexual activity in exchange for drugs and money. Blue was taken into custody in the 1200 block of Broadway. A search of his vehicle revealed a substance believed to be methamphetamine. Blue remains in custody. His bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety. 

The Hannibal Police Department was assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol during the investigation.
