Pike Co. (IL) Sheriff makes sex offender arrest

Just after 6:00 p.m. on September 8, the Pike County Sheriff’s Department arrested Dennis E. Beaver, 59, of Detroit, Illinois for the offense of failure to register as a sex offender.
The investigation began when it was discovered that Beaver was overdue on his sex offender registration.
Beaver was arrested without incident and lodged in the Pike County Jail.
