Young Masters exhibit at Hannibal Arts Council to be on display April 1-23
HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Arts Council fills its galleries each April with the Young Masters exhibit of select works by Hannibal’s fifth-grade, eighth-grade and high school students in both public and parochial schools. The exhibit will run from April 1-23, with gallery hours of noon to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Participating schools are A.D. Stowell Elementary, Eugene Field, Holy Family fifth and eighth grades, Mark Twain Elementary, Oakwood Elementary, St. John’s Lutheran fifth and eighth grades, Veterans Elementary, Hannibal Middle School eighth grade and select Hannibal High School students taught by Christina Strode, Lisa Wiese and James Zimmerman.
The exhibit is sponsored by First State Insurance Agency, Riedel Foundation, General Mills Hometown Grantmaking Program, Community Foundation of West Central Illinois and Northeast Missouri, Hannibal Arts Council, and in cooperation with the Missouri Arts Council.
