Several convictions of registered sex offenders made in Pike County

PITTSFIELD, Ill. — Several convictions recently were made in Pike County, Ill., for various offenses related to the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act. Pike County Sheriff David Greenwood said his office has and will continue to aggressively monitor all registered sex offenders in Pike County, Illinois.
The following people have been charged and convicted in Pike County, Ill.
- On Feb. 17, 2021, Jane M. Milner, 50, of Nebo was arrested on a charge of violation of the sex offender registration act. Milner pled guilty in Pike County Circuit Court on Aug. 24, 2021, to the offense and received 24 months conditional discharge and fines.
- On May 18, 2020, Jason M. Rennecker, 37, of Griggsville was arrested on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender. Rennecker pled guilty in Pike County Circuit Court on June 1, 2021, to the offense and received 24 months probation, 90 days jail and fines.
- On Jan. 27, 2021, Verle E. Gibson, 42, of Pearl was arrested on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender. Gibson pled guilty in Pike County Circuit Court on Aug. 24, 2021, to the offense and was sentenced to 5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and fines.
- On Oct. 23, 2020, Roy L. Irick, 67, of Hull was arrested on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender. Irick pled guilty in Pike County Circuit Court on Sept. 14, 2021, to the offense and was sentenced to 2 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by conditional discharge and fines.
- On Dec. 22, 2020, Walter W. Lynn of Pittsfield was arrested on a charge of violation of the sex offender registration act. Lynn pled guilty in Pike County Circuit Court on June 1, 2021 to the offense was sentenced to 4 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and fines.
- On Feb. 7, 2021, Patrick TD Cantwell, 25, of Pleasant Hill was arrested on a charge of violation of the sex offender registration act. Cantwell pled guilty in Pike County Circuit Court on Sept. 9, 2021, to the offense and was sentenced to 5 ½ years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and fines.
- On Oct. 28, 2020, Gary L. Oberdahlhoff, 51, of Nebo was arrested on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender. Oberdahlhoff pled guilty in Pike County Circuit Court on Sept. 14, 2021, to the offense and was sentenced to 2 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and fines.
