PHILADELPHIA, Mo. — Three members of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter at Marion County R-II School have qualified for the national convention to be held in Orlando, Fla., on June 30. This will be a return performance as the school has representation at the national convention in Atlanta, Ga., in 2023.

Porter Britt, Nick Kelso and Rheo Schluckebier qualified for the national convention in the category of broadcast journalism. Wendy Plunkett is the FBLA advisor for the school.

Marion County R-II is one of the smallest school districts in Missouri. The Missouri FBLA-PBL has 16,590 members in more than 500 chapters across the state, making it the second largest chapter in the nation.
