‘Green with Envy’ is theme for upcoming Hannibal Arts Council exhibit to be displayed starting July 19
HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Arts Council is looking for art submissions featuring the color green.
Artists can create new pieces or submit pieces already created that fit the “Green with Envy” theme. The subject doesn’t matter. Just make sure the emphasis of the composition features the color green, or its tints and shades.
Paintings, photographs, sculptures, mixed media … any media is accepted if it fits the theme. The exhibit will be displayed at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main, from July 19 through Aug. 31.
Artwork may be dropped off at the Hannibal Arts Council from noon to 5 p.m. on Monday, July 15, or Tuesday, July 16. Up to two pieces in any media category may be entered, 2-D or 3-D. The exhibit is open to anyone age 13 and older living within a 50-mile radius of Hannibal. It is open to professional and amateur artists. There is no fee to include work in the exhibit, and there are no size restrictions. All work must be properly framed, if applicable, with wire on the back and ready for hanging. Entries may be for sale.
Guidelines, exhibit details, artist registration form and artwork labels are available on the Gallery/Exhibit Opportunities page at hannibalarts.com.
