Memorial Hospital, Carthage Public Library team up for ‘Story Time and Snack Making’ workshops

CARTHAGE, Ill. — Memorial Hospital and Carthage Public Library are collaborating to be the hosts of a series of “Story Time and Snack Making” workshops at the Memorial Hospital Health and Wellness Center on June 5, July 3, and Aug. 7 from 10 to 11 a.m.

These workshops will introduce children to healthy eating habits and the importance of nutrition in fueling their bodies. The workshops will combine the joy of story time with interactive snack crafting activities, providing a fun and educational experience for young participants.

This free series of events is open to preschoolers through incoming second graders.

Each session can accommodate up to 20 children who are accompanied by an adult. Registration is required and can be done at mhtlc.org/services/health-wellness-center/teaching-kitchen/.
