Mendon Fire Protection District to hold third annual Firefest Saturday at Adams County Fairgrounds

MENDON, Ill. — FireFest will begin at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, at the Adams County Fairgrounds in Mendon. This event helps raise money for equipment purchases and improvements, safety gear and training opportunities for the fire department and the volunteer firefighters of the district.

There is no charge to attend. Food and drinks will be available starting at 4 p.m. Firefest will offer a variety of raffles and live auction items. Liz Bentley will perform from 4:30 to 7 p.m. with Jake Gill performing from 8 to 11:30 p.m.
