Photo Gallery: Noon Kiwanis takes kids to Saukenauk for day of swimming, boating, fishing and hiking
MENDON, Ill. — The Quincy Noon Kiwanis held its Ken Bigelow Kids’ Day at the Saukenauk Scout Reservation on June 29.
Kiwanis members have been taking anywhere from 40 to 60 Salvation Army kids up to the camp for a day of swimming, boating, fishing and hiking for more than 25 years. Participants arrive at 9 a.m. and usually leave around 1 p.m., and the kids get snacks, drinks and lunch.
Club member Craig Heming provided these photos from the day’s activities.
