QUINCY — St. Francis Solanus School eighth grade teacher Jeff Zanger and St. Francis Solanus School eighth grade student Brady Koetters, along with his father Bryan Koetters, recently attended and presented at the International Society of Technology in Education conference in Denver.

The conference was attended by more than 16,500 educators, students and family members from 12 countries and five states.

Teachers and students were invited to the conference by the JDO Foundation. The mission of the JDO Foundation is to provide professional development for teachers and a long-term collaboration experience for U.S. and international classrooms (students aged 8-14 years) at no cost to the partner school. The foundation connects more than 87 schools around the world so students and staff can have a better understanding of different cultures.

Members of JDO presented at four different sessions during the conference. Brady Koetters presented during a morning session of the conference, and Zanger presented twice.
