QUINCY — The City of Quincy will officially recognize the contributions of Chaddock by proclaiming the week of Sept. 3–8 as “Chaddock Appreciation Week.”

The announcement will be made at the Tuesday, Sept. 3 meeting of the Quincy City Council. Quincy Mayor Mike Troup will issue an official proclamation at the beginning of the meeting. In celebration of Chaddock Appreciation Week, the Bayview Bridge will be illuminated in Chaddock red throughout the week.

With programs that serve more than 400 children daily and a staff of more than 300 dedicated professionals, Chaddock’s Developmental Trauma and Attachment Program continues to bring hope and healing to children and families.

“We are deeply honored by this recognition and are incredibly proud of the work our team does every day to support children and families in need,” Jeff VanCamp, executive director of the Chaddock Children’s Foundation, said in a press release. “The Bayview Bridge illuminated in Chaddock red is a powerful symbol of our commitment to the community and the families we serve.”
