The Morning Muddy … sort of
Today’s Morning Muddy, which is brought to you by Muddy River Engraving, is old school. The written word.
Why? Because we’re in the process of working on fixing some technical difficulties in our office/studio this morning.
You see, Friday night our Muddy Night Lights powered by Farm and Home Supply didn’t go live as usual. We recorded it and uploaded it and you can still enjoy it here.
So what happened? That’s a great question.
Our friends at Adams Fiber said the traffic spiked Friday night, I would assume in anticipation of the show. But it spiked to a point where our bandwidth was choked and the router died.
Or something like that.
Anyway, technology is great when it works and when it doesn’t you cuss it like it’s your football team after it gets drilled by 30. We are working on the issue, borrowing a neighbor’s wi-fi and we are still keeping an eye on things.
We can produce content, but the administrative side of my job took precedence over slapping together a couple of minutes of video schtick.
So I apologize for what happened with Muddy Night Lights live show on Friday. That stuff ultimately falls on me. We are working this week to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Or it least it’s less likely to happen again.
Because … technology.
But while you’re on the site today, read David Adam’s stories from last night’s Quincy City Council meeting. The return of the roundabout is always good for a click or two.
