Safely dispose of medications at Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Oct. 26 at Adams County Health Department

QUINCY, Ill. — Adams County residents can safely and securely dispose of potentially addictive prescription medications at National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, a drive-thru event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Adams County Health Department, 330 Vermont. The DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is in collaboration with the Adams County Sheriff’s Department.

Take-back events allow Adams County residents to properly dispose of medications that are no longer needed or expired, including potentially addictive prescription opioids. Syringes, needles or other sharps and liquid medications can not be accepted at this event.
