Mary “Jane” Sprinkle, age 58, of Fowler, Illinois, died on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 in her home.

Jane was born on December 21, 1965 in Quincy, Illinois, a daughter of Gerald “Jerry” Evans and Carol Turner Evans. She married Larry Sprinkle, Jr. on February 23, 1985 in Quincy. He survives.

Jane was a 1984 graduate of Quincy High School. She was a bus driver for the Quincy Public Schools.

Her creative spirit led to her enjoyment of crafts, painting, sewing and crocheting. Jane took pleasure in spending time outdoors, with her dog, Cruz, and fishing. She loved going on motorcycle trips with Larry.

Jane was devoted to her family, and she cherished time spent with her grandchildren. She enjoyed talking to Aunt Ella every day, and sewing with her when she came home.

Survivors in addition to her husband, Larry, include her beloved dog, Cruz; her three daughters, Evan (Alex) Hultz of Palmyra, MO, Emily (Ryan) Keller of Quincy, and Elizabeth (fiancé Zac) Sprinkle of Meredosia, IL; eight grandchildren, Emily Sprinkle, Emma Windmiller, Dreighton Sprinkle, Delanie Sprinkle, Pearce Keller, Paxton Keller, Zayn Hultz, and Zander Hultz; three grand-dogs, Charlie, Salem and Penny; her mother, Carol Small of Quincy; her mother-in-law, Doris Sprinkle of Quincy; a brother, Jerrod (Beth) Evans of Quincy; a sister, Sherry (David) Schaffnit of Quincy; two step-sisters, Shari (Glen) Higley and Sarah Small; and nieces and nephews.

Jane was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Evans, her step-father, Garry Small, her father-in-law, Larry Sprinkle, her maternal grandparents, Paul and Mary Turner, and her paternal grandparents, Janie and Clem (Red) Evans.

Visitation: 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, October 18, 2024 at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.

Service: 10:00 am on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, with Pastor Marty Joe Smyser officiating.

Burial: Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois
