Hannibal woman suffers moderate injuries in Saturday crash on U.S. 61 north of New London

NEW LONDON, Mo. — A Saturday night crash north of New London left a Hannibal woman injured.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol said Sandra M. Charlton, 77, of Hannibal, was driving a 2018 Ford F-150 north on U.S. 61, a quarter-mile north of New London, at 10:25 p.m. when it crossed the median and the southbound lanes, then hit a guardrail.

Charlton was wearing a seat belt. She suffered moderate injuries and was taken by Ralls County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital.

The Ralls County Sheriff’s Department, New London Police Department, New London First Responders and Ralls County Ambulance provided assistance.
