Eloise’s professional life was marked by her dedication and nurturing spirit. Initially working as a secretary for Moorman’s and Brower’s Manufacturing, she later chose to focus on her family, becoming a homemaker and raising her sons with love and attention. Her caring nature extended beyond her own family as she opened an in-home daycare, becoming a treasured figure in the lives of many children and parents. In her retirement, she continued to serve others as an aide/assistant at Sunset Home, where her gentle presence was a comfort to many. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her active membership at Luther Memorial Church, where she found solace and strength.

Beyond her work and church involvement, Eloise was a woman of many interests and talents. She was an exceptional cook, known for her legendary apple pie and homemade noodles. Her skills as a seamstress were unmatched, creating beautiful quilts and crafts that became cherished family heirlooms. Eloise’s hands were rarely still, as she also excelled in knitting, creating cozy pieces for those she loved. She found joy in card games with her girlfriends, a testament to her social spirit and love of camaraderie.

An admirer of nature’s beauty, Eloise loved tending to her flowers and watching birds, with cardinals holding a special place in her heart. Her love for the outdoors was also evident in her enjoyment of camping, with Siloam Springs and Bennett Springs being among her favorite destinations. Eloise’s adventurous spirit took her to far-off destinations such as Hawaii, Germany, Holland, Alaska, amongst many others, creating memories that she treasured deeply.

Above all, Eloise’s heart belonged to her family. She was a constant presence at family events and sports, cheering on her loved ones with pride and enthusiasm. Her love was the glue that held the family together, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
