Lisa Schuckman – Hansen-Spear
Lisa Schuckman, age 59, of Quincy, died on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 in Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Lisa was born on June 8, 1965, in Quincy, Illinois, a daughter of Robert Junior and Betty Ann Baker Hickerson. She married Gregory Schuckman on July 11, 1981 in Parkview Church, in Quincy. He survives.
Survivors in addition to her husband, Greg, include three daughters, Brooke (Ryan) Senior of Chesterfield, MO, Amanda (Daniel) Tournear of Camp Point, IL, and Sarah Schuckman of Quincy; six grandchildren, Natalie Wilson, Hayden Senior, Alayna Senior, Hunter Wilson, Owen Schuckman, and Cabella Wilson; four bonus grandchildren, DJ Tournear, Sarah Tournear, Samuel Tournear and Lilyanna Pirtle; a brother, Troy Hickerson of Quincy; a sister, Robin (Ken) Bloch of Quincy; her father- and mother-in-law, Jerry and Kathleen Schuckman; three sisters-in-law, Rebecca (Guy) Spoonmore, Theresa (Mike) Lantz, and Julie Schuckman, all of Quincy; a brother-in-law, Matt (Michelle) Schuckman of Quincy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother-in-law, Stephen Schuckman.
Lisa was a devoted mother, sister, wife and friend. She enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren and making memories that were forever lasting. She was a devoted nurse for 20 years at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy. Lisa enjoyed old classic country music and was a huge fan of Elvis Presley. She loved her pets and was often heard singing and talking to the family dog Gracie as if she was one of the children. She loved to plant flowers in the spring and go on vacations to different states in the summers. It was very important to Lisa that her family always knew how proud she was of all of them. Lisa’s most cherished life experience was her marriage to her husband Greg. They had been married 43 years this past July and truly were each other’s world
There is no visitation; however, family and friends are invited to attend Lisa’s graveside service.
Graveside Service: 11:00 am on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois, with Pastor Shane Tomko officiating.
