50 Years: Dennis & Marcia Steinkamp

Dennis and Marcia Steinkamp of Quincy are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on November 29, 1974 at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church (now Blessed Sacrament), Quincy. Marcia, is the daughter of the late Anthony and Ruth Lohman of Quincy. Dennis is the son of the late Elmer and Rosetta Steinkamp of Quincy. They are the parents of Nick (Jill) Steinkamp of Quincy and their children Allison (Luke) Miller, Jamie, Paul, Isaac, Nathan and Carter. Krista (Don) Clipper of Lake St. Louis MO and their children Logan, Caleb, Addison, Christian and Lucas. Andrew (Teresa) Steinkamp of St. Louis and their children, Keller and Madeline. Katie (Patrick) Bommarito of St. Louis and their children Blaise, Cora, Quinn and Andrea
Dennis is retired from the State of Illinois Department of Human Services. Marcia worked for Illinois Bell Ameritech SBC for 23 Years. She was part owner along with her son Nick of MS Communications Inc. for 27 Years. They are members of Saint Francis Solanus Catholic Church and have been active in Cursillo for over 40 Years. Dennis is a member of St. Francis Holy Name and also the Knights of Columbus. They enjoy volunteering at their parish, and also traveling, especially to visit children and grandchildren. Their children are honoring them with a reception on Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 12:30pm until 3pm in Solanus Hall at Saint Francis Parish Center in Quincy.
