Jazz concert by Hannibal pianist set for Dec. 15 at Hannibal Arts Council
HANNIBAL, Mo. — A holiday jazz concert will be held at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main, on Sunday, Dec. 15. The performance will feature smooth jazz and holiday favorites with a jazz twist by Hannibal pianist Bill Morrison and guest musicians — Morrison’s son Marty Morrison on drums, Bennett Wood on saxophone, Tom Byrne on guitar and Jim Batson on bass.
Advance ticket purchases are required. Tickets are $20 per person. If the concert is not sold out, tickets will be sold at the door for $30. All proceeds from the concert will benefit the Riverside Cemetery Association. The Hannibal Arts Council benefits from the loan of a Kawai grand piano once owned by Jason Dugger (1972-2009), who is interred at Riverside Cemetery.
