Moline man, 75, faces driving under influence of alcohol charge after Friday night crash in Adams County

MENDON, Ill. — A 75-year-old Moline man is facing a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic crash Friday night northeast of Mendon.

A traffic crash between a passenger vehicle and a farm tractor pulling an implement occurred at 5:56 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at the intersection of Illinois 336 and N. 2400th Avenue. The 75-year-old male, who was not identified in a traffic crash report by the Adams County Sheriff’s Department, was taken to Blessing Hospital with moderate injuries. He was issued several citations pending lab results.

The Adams County Ambulance Service and the Mendon Fire Department provided assistance.
