PALMYRA, Mo. — The Palmyra Fire Department, 407 S. Main, and Blessing Health are teaming up to provide Roth ID tags at no cost to 200 families attending Saturday’s fire truck ride with Santa event at the Palmyra Fire Department.

The Roth ID tag affixes to a child’s car seat. It includes an area for owners of the child seat to write contact information. In the event of an emergency, the tag pulls from the car seat and is used as an emergency medical wristband by first responders for the child using the seat. The fire truck ride with Santa event takes place from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday. Children ride a fire truck with Santa, have their picture taken with him and receive gifts — including candy, a coloring book and a plastic fire helmet.
