Memorial health screening

CARTHAGE, Ill. — In honor of National Heart Month, Memorial Hospital will offer community health screenings on Wednesday, Feb. 5, in the Health and Wellness Conference Room on the Memorial Hospital campus. Screenings for A1C, lipid panel, hearing and vision will be available for $25.

Fasting for 10 to 12 hours before the lipid panel is required to ensure accurate results.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death for adults in the United States. These screenings will provide an opportunity for residents to check in on critical aspects of their heart health. These screenings are available to the public, but participants must register and pay in advance.

With only two spots open every 15 minutes and a total of only 18 spots available, early registration is encouraged. Interested people can register by visiting mhtlc.org or by calling 217-357-6540.
