Brent Fischer (R-District 7) moves from a seat on the Finance Committee to chair the Public Health and Safety Committee. Barb Fletcher (R-District 1), the former committee chair, remains on the committee.

The Public Health and Safety Committee oversees the sheriff’s department and Adams County Jail and Fischer previously served four terms as sheriff.

Bob Reich (R-District 5) will serve as the board’s vice chairman and chair of the Legislative and Judicial Committee. Dave Bellis (R-District 3) will continue to serve as chair of the Transportation, Building and Technology Committee.
