United Way of Adams County to be host of winter Multi-Agency Resource Center event on Wednesday
QUINCY — United Way of Adams County will be the host of the upcoming Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) event on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the Quincy Senior and Family Resource Center, 639 York, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided by Horizons Soup Kitchen.
MARC events are designed to simplify access to critical services by bringing a diverse group of agencies and organizations together in one location. Participants have access to an extensive and varied offering of community resources.
This one-day event features local nonprofits, government organizations and social service agencies offering assistance and information in areas including housing, employment and essential needs.
Open to all Adams County residents, admission is free, making it an accessible resource day for people and families. The MARC provides information and assistance to all attendees.
“We are thrilled to continue the MARC event in our community,” Jenna Hull, executive director of United Way of Adams County, said in a press release. “By hosting this event, we continue to bridge the gap between residents and support systems available in our area, making it easier for people to access the help they need in one location. It is all about building a stronger, more connected and resilient Adams County.”
