Paris woman facing six felonies after allegedly stealing more than $23,000 from booster club
PARIS, Mo. — A Paris woman was arrested Friday morning after she allegedly stole money from a booster club.
Jessica R. Howard, 43, of Paris was arrested on a warrant at approximately 8:15 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 31. She has been charged with six felonies: three counts of stealing, one count of forgery and two counts of fraudulent use of a credit device.
Howard, a former officer of the Paris Athletic Booster Club, allegedly took more than $23,000.00 between August 2023 and September 2024 from the not-for-profit without authorization. Howard’s bond is set at $100,000.
The investigation and subsequent arrest of Howard were conducted by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department.
