La BELLE, Mo. — A Shelbyville woman was arrested on a Lewis County warrant for one count of resisting/interfering with an arrest for a felony.

The Lewis County Sheriff’s Department reported the charge, a Class E felony, against Heather L. Mollet, 37, stemmed from an incident that occurred in La Belle on Jan. 13. At that time, she was wanted on a Missouri Department of Corrections warrant. Mollet is alleged to have fled into a residence in La Belle while deputies were attempting to take her into custody.

She was arrested and taken to the Clark County Jail on Jan. 13. She was then released by the Missouri Department of Corrections before the Lewis County warrant could be obtained.

Members of the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department arrested Mollet on Jan. 23 on the Lewis County warrant. She is in the Clark County Jail on the no-bond warrant.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted.
