Applications open for Memorial Hospital scholarships to help people pursuing healthcare-related program

CARTHAGE, Ill. — Scholarship money is available through the Memorial Hospital/HIA Scholarship Fund and the Memorial Hospital Medical Staff Scholarship for Hancock County. These scholarships are available to Hancock County residents pursuing or currently enrolled in a healthcare-related program.
Thanks to the Hancock County Health Improvement Association, these funds have been designated to support local students in their journey toward a healthcare career. Scholarship recipients are not required to repay the funds if they complete their education in a healthcare field and/or career.
Applications are available online at mhtlc.org by hovering over the Careers tab, or they can be picked up from the Memorial Hospital administrative office in Carthage. The deadline to apply is April 1. Applicants must submit a certified copy of their student transcript.
