Kenneth F. “Kenny” Neisen Sr., age 77, of Fowler, died on Sunday, March 9, 2025 in his home. He was born on July 12, 1947 in Quincy, the son of Joseph and Mildred (Wiewel) Neisen. He married Susan Kay Huseman on June 17, 1967 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on September 21, 2020. Kenny worked for Moorman’s Manufacturing Company for 20 years. He then was a farmer for many years and enjoyed raising hogs on the farm. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Kenny enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Kenny was excited to visit the Adams County Fair each year and visit with friends there. He looked forward to cheesy curly fries and a milkshake. Kenny enjoyed spending time on the farm with his youngest grandsons Barret and Becket and his late dog Butch. He also liked visits from his grand dogs Lila and Oakley “Red.”

He is also survived by his children: Angie (Jim) Loos of Liberty, Kenny (Kim Board) Neisen of Camp Point, Adam (Paige) Neisen of Fowler and Therese Neisen of Quincy.
Grandchildren: Caleb, Kent and Conner Neisen, Isabella, Barret and Becket Neisen; a great-grandson, Derik Neisen. One brother: James “Jimmy” (Peggy) Neisen and a brother in law: Darel Carroll. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

In addition to his wife, Kenny was also preceded in death by his parents, and siblings:
Robert, Orville, Earl, Norbert, Don Neisen and Arthur Neisen in infancy; and four sisters, Vera Carroll, Pat Becker, Alberta Guthrie and Rosemary Metzgar.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church by Rev. Scott Snider. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Duker & Haugh. Memorials are suggested to St Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery Fund or Blessing Hospice.
