Palmyra man, 72, injured in single-vehicle crash Thursday morning on County Road 405

PALMYRA, Mo. — A 72-year-old man was seriously injured Thursday morning in a single-vehicle crash on County Road 405, three miles east of Palmyra.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash happened at approximately 11:11 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, when a 2008 Honda Ridgeline driven by a man from Palmyra headed north ran off the left side of the road and struck a ditch.

The driver, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, was transported by Survival Flight to University Medical Center in Columbia for treatment.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department, the Palmyra Fire Department and with multiple members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted.
