Camp Point recognized as a Smart Rural Community by NTCA, Adams Fiber

CAMP POINT, Ill. — Camp Point has been designated as a Smart Rural Community by NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association, powered by Adams Fiber. This recognition celebrates Camp Point’s commitment to leveraging advanced technology to drive growth, enhance opportunities and foster a thriving rural community.
The announcement was made during Camp Point’s village board meeting on March 18, where representatives from Adams Fiber presented the award to Camp Point mayor Daniel Mock and the village’s board members.
The NTCA Smart Rural Community program highlights rural areas across America that have embraced cutting-edge broadband technology to elevate economic development, education, healthcare and quality of life. Camp Point joins a growing list of communities using broadband to create progress.

Camp Point will be featured in NTCA’s national Smart Rural Community program materials, showcased on the official Smart Rural Community website (www.smartruralcommunity.com), and highlighted alongside other forward-thinking communities. The village also received an exclusive Smart Rural Community road sign, a certificate of recognition and a social media marketing kit.
