JWCC offering forklift training class Dec. 1 at Workforce Development Center

QUINCY — John Wood Community College’s Workforce Development Center, 4220 Koch’s Lane, will be the site of a forklift class from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 1. The class is open to the public. No application is necessary. People are required to make a reservation to attend.

This course consists of classroom and hands-on training. The classroom portion covers general forklift safety, forklift statistics and incident review, and the most common forklift mistakes. The hands-on training prepares the participant to safely and competently operate a forklift. The cost is $75 per person.
