Memorial Hospital’s Health and Wellness Center launches ‘Salads on Saturday’ DIY salad-making class May 3

CARTHAGE, Ill. — Memorial Hospital’s Health and Wellness Center is introducing “Salads on Saturday,” a DIY salad-making class happening at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, in the Health and Wellness Center Teaching Kitchen on the Memorial Hospital campus.

Led by chef Amber Clark and registered dietitian Ashlyn Housewright, this hands-on class invites participants on a creative culinary journey to craft four unique and nutritious salads. From fresh produce to delicious dressings, attendees will learn tips and techniques to elevate their salad game while gaining insight into the health benefits of each creation.

“Salads on Saturday” is ideal for individuals looking to expand their kitchen skills, discover new flavor combinations and bring variety to their meals. At $35 per person, the workshop includes all materials and ingredients, allowing participants to enjoy the experience without any prep work. Guests will enjoy tasting their creations in class and take one delicious salad home.
