HANNIBAL, Mo. — Hannibal based author and speaker Bob Morrison recently released his latest book, “Compelled.”

Morrison is an Indiana-born native who has put down roots in Hannibal after serving in disaster responses for more than 20 years in multiple major disasters including the Joplin tornado, Hurricane Katrina, the Haiti earthquake and Ground Zero 9/11 in New York City. His primary occupation, a respiratory therapist who served in medical center emergency rooms across the country as well as helicopter transport teams, has provided him with insight into the tragedies of humanity and the much-needed spiritual healing as well.

This story is based on true events and carries readers along on a journey of adventure and compassionate self-discovery beyond their comfort zone. Morrison draws on his experiences from a multitude of roles including firefighter, business owner and pastor to carry his readers.

In addition to authoring the book “Ashes to Ashes: 9/11” and the newly released “Compelled,” Morrison produces the weekly “Compelled” podcast from a local store front on Main Street in Hannibal. It can be found on Spotify, Amazon and iHeart radio.

The book is available on Amazon and various locations in and around Hannibal.
