QUINCY — United Way of Adams County raised more than $20,000 in the inaugural United We Feud event hosted on April 12 at The Washington Theater in Quincy.

Led by host, Rich Marcolla, the evening brought local families and community members together for a lively trivia night, centered around the power of community impact. The event showcased four teams of local community members facing off against one another for a family game night, Adams County style. Quincy’s Quizzical Quandaries were the inaugural champions of United We Feud.

Ashley Conrad of Muddy River News took home the first ever People’s Choice award.

The contestants and their teams were:

  • 1. Pucker Street Crew — John Ufkes, Andrew Smith, Amanda Van Ness, Ashley Conrad, Kathi Dooley
  • 2. Kung Feud Fighters — Jack Cornell, Lori Murphy, Ali Power, Holly Cain, Trenton Murfin
  • 3. Feud for Thought — Anthony Wollaston, Kent Stegeman, Tieraney Craig, Jessica Booth, Natalie Will
  • 4. Quincy’s Quizzical Quandaries — Frank Cann, Phillip Smith, Kristie Kemner, Ann Boland, Nick Hiland. The QQQ won the competition.

“We are overjoyed by the out pouring of positivity we have received regarding our first ever United We
Feud,” United Way of Adams County Executive Director Jenna Hull said. “Being able to bring people
from all walks of life together in one room to just have fun is something we loved having the
opportunity to do. Being able to raise over $20,000 in our first year was a special moment I know
myself, my staff, and our board will never forget. We are so thankful to the community for embracing
United Way of Adams County and all we’re doing to support those who make this community what it is.”

Funds raised during the event will directly support Adams County and the programs that operate within
it. For more information about the United We Feud or United Way of Adams County, please contact the United Way of Adams County.
