Freddy’s coming to Quincy in August

QUINCY – The former Steak n Shake location at 3819 Broadway is being transformed into another burger and ice cream franchise.
A spokesperson confirmed to Muddy River News Thursday that Freddy’s, a fast food restaurant that specializes in frozen custard and steakburgers, will open at that location in mid-August.
Steak n Shake closed in Quincy in Sept. 2024 following the death of the franchise’s owner, Paul Ledgard.
Freddy’s opened in 2002 and is headquartered in Wichita, Kan. and has more than 500 locations across the United States, including a location in Busch Stadium in St. Louis.
