Rosalyn was born April 7, 1938, in Quincy, the daughter of Edward and Stella Klingele Ehrhardt. She married Roger K. Boone on September 7, 1957, in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2017.

Rosalyn was a proud lifetime member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and attended St. Anthony School. As a young girl she learned the value of hard work, working on her parents farm. The Boones owned and operated Boone Welding and Repair. She also did the books for both businesses. Rosalyn was an active and dedicated church member. She was a member of the Alter Society and helped to organize and prepare funeral dinners. For many years, she and Roger delivered Communion to shut-ins as well as many others in need. Above all else, Rosalyn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Whether it was Sunday dinner or some much needed advice, she was always there for her family, to help in any way she could.
