CARTHAGE, Ill. — Memorial Medical Clinic Mobile recently announced it is rolling out a series of superhero-powered events this summer designed to crush summer boredom, strengthen young minds and help build bright futures in Hancock County.

The “Memorial Healthy Heroes, Assemble,” hosted by the Memorial Medical Clinic Mobile team, will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout June and July. These free family-friendly events will feature interactive storytimes with Memorial Medical Clinic providers, fun activities and take-home summer meals.

“Our superhero team is on a mission to inspire, connect and support our communities,” Licensed Clinical Social Worker Gavin O’Neil said in a press release. “These events bring together fun and learning while also promoting health and wellness for kids and families.”

The events will rotate through various locations in Hancock County.
