Man injured in Friday night fight in Hannibal transferred to St. Louis area hospital

HANNIBAL, Mo. — A man has been transferred to a hospital in the St. Louis area after he was involved in a fight Friday night in Hannibal.
Officers with the Hannibal Police Department were dispatched at approximately 10:31 p.m. on Friday, May 16, to the 100 block of North Main for a fight in progress. A preliminary investigation revealed an argument began while two males were walking along North Main Street when they argued, and a physical fight ensued.
One male did not require treatment. The other was initially transported to Hannibal Regional Hospital then transferred to the St. Louis hospital. He is in stable condition, and the investigation continues.
