50 Years: Gary and Katherine York

Gary and Katherine York of Quincy, IL are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married June 16, 1973 at Union United Methodist Church.

They have two children, Adam York from Quincy and Angela York from Quincy. They also have five grandchildren – Abigail, Tucker, Brett, Ella, and Dulce – all from Quincy. We can’t forget to mention Maggie, Haley, and Daisy (their four-legged family).

Gary worked at Quincy Public Schools for 27 years. He retired in June of 2022 and has enjoyed every single minute of his retirement! Kathy is a full-time wife, Mom, and the best Grandma anyone could ask for. She still makes food from scratch and enjoys spending time with her Grandkids and new Grandpuppy Daisy.
