Maue-Allysa-obit

Allysa Rose Maue Weise, age 31, of Quincy, died Friday, February 28, 2025, at 11:11 pm in Blessing Hospital.

Allysa was born July 28, 1993, in Breese, Illinois, the daughter of Kenneth and Sandra Horn Maue. She was able to wed the love of her life, Edward Weise, in a special ceremony on the day of her passing. They shared nine years of love and happiness. He survives.

Allysa was a true thespian at heart. She enjoyed performing and sung in the Quincy Symphony Choir. She was an amateur horticulturist and a lover of making sweets for her sweets. Allysa enjoyed video games and was an OG Tumbler addict. She loved the animated movies by Studio Ghibli, Lord of the Rings, as well as period and historical dramas. Allysa was an accomplished artist. She had the ability to show true emotion through her art. Those lucky enough to behold her paintings and drawings would often be left speechless due to the emotion conveyed. She was most skillful in her use of sarcasm, humor, and general goofiness, to lighten the mood. Allysa may be gone but she is not forgotten, her spirit lives in the hearts and through the memories of all who knew her.
