Barbara’s professional life was marked by her 25-year tenure as an event coordinator at Timber Point Healthcare, where she brought joy and entertainment to many. Her commitment to her work was paralleled by her devotion to her faith as a dedicated member of Lorraine Christian Church. Her involvement in both her work and church community left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A woman of petite stature, Barbara possessed a personality larger than life. She approached everything with passion and elegance, always presenting herself with grace and style. Her love for classic movies was more than a pastime; it was a passion ignited in her youth, living across from the Orpheum Theatre. Her collection of movie posters was a testament to her fondness for the golden age of Hollywood, with Judy Garland, Lucille Ball, and Scarlett O’Hara among her favorite stars.

Barbara’s love for the outdoors was evident in her meticulously tended gardens, where she grew a vibrant array of flowers and vegetables, ensuring not a single weed dared intrude. Her childhood passion for horses blossomed into a lifelong love affair, shared with her husband Kenneth as they operated a Pony farm. Together, they brought joy to many, sharing their ponies with schools, Camp Callahan, fairs, and creating cherished memories for their children and grandchildren. Barbara’s journey through life was a remarkable one, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
