Charles Edwin Neuschafer – Bienhoff Funeral Home

Funeral services for Charles Edwin Neuschafer, 86, of Center, will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, October 4, 2024 at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Center, with Pastor Steve Goughnour officiating. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Masonic services will begin at 3:00 PM.
Mr. Neuschafer passed away at 7:56 AM, Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Luther Manor Nursing Center in Hannibal.
Charles was born on April 10, 1938, in Center, the son of Roe Darrell and Lenoa Winiferd Thrasher Neuschafer.
He married JoAnn Fountain on January 15, 1961 in Hannibal and she survives.
Other survivors include; one son; David Neuschafer of St. Louis, and one sister; Carolyn Smith of Vandalia, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Charles was preceded by his parents, one daughter; Caverly Neuschafer, and one brother; Tom Neuschafer.
Mr. Neuschafer was a lifetime area resident and a member of the Center Methodist Church. He was a 50 year member of the Ralls Masonic Lodge 33 and a member of the Methodist Mens Club. Charles enjoyed fishing and woodworking but most of all he enjoyed working around the farm.
Pallbearers will be Mike Evans, Kyle Evans, Bruce Wisdom, Ryan Fountain, Greg Price, and Chester Palmer.
