Debbie Sprinkle — O’Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home

Debbie Sprinkle, 65, of Quincy, passed away at 6:43 am Monday, February 17, 2025, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
Debbie was born September 8, 1959, in Fairfield, IL to Tom and Betty (Eckleberry) Sprinkle.
Debbie’s life was a testament to her dedication to her family and her community. She is survived by her loving mother, Betty Sprinkle; her devoted daughters, Heather Cannady (Chad) and Taylor Lampkins (Tylor); her adored grandchildren, Braxton Cannady and Jaxon Lampkins; her caring sister, Teresa Duesterhaus (Tim); her brothers, Gary Sprinkle and Steven Sprinkle (Cindy); and a host of cherished nieces and nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Tom Sprinkle, and her son, Willie Sprinkle.
A proud graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1977, Debbie went on to build a fulfilling career. She worked with dedication at Titan Wheel and Pam Printers, where she was known for her strong work ethic and friendly demeanor. Debbie’s commitment to her community was evident through her service as a board member at the South Side Boat Club, where she also enjoyed playing darts and socializing with friends.
Debbie’s interests were as diverse as they were passionate. She was an avid camper, often found at Whispering Oaks with her pop-up camper, relishing the great outdoors. A fan of NASCAR, she cheered enthusiastically for her favorite driver, Jeff Gordon. In the kitchen, Debbie was a great cook, renowned for her delicious pineapple upside down cake and brownies. Her love for the Hallmark Channel was matched only by her enjoyment of country and old rock & roll music, which provided the soundtrack to many family gatherings.
Above all, Debbie’s heart belonged to her family. She was a pillar of strength and love, always putting her daughters and grandchildren first. Her presence at family events, her laughter, and her unwavering support were the glue that held her family together. Debbie’s legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on through the lives of those she touched.
A Graveside Service will be at 1:30 pm Friday, February 21, 2025, at the Greenmount Cemetery in Quincy. Pastor Kory Hollensteiner will officiate. Following graveside services, there will be a celebration of life at South Side Boat Club.
