Floyd Thomas “Tom” Asquith – Bienhoff Funeral Home

Memorial services for Floyd Thomas “Tom” Asquith, 79, of Perry, will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Perry, with Pastor Jason Yancey officiating. Burial will follow at Lick Creek Cemetery with full military honors.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home in Perry with Masonic services at 11:00 AM.
Tom passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on June 13, 1945, in Louisiana, the son of Floyd and Dorothy Dixon Asquith.
He was married to Pam Stuart on June 3, 1967, at St. William Catholic Church in Perry and she survives.
Other survivors include one daughter; Rachel (Mark) Gilmore of Perry, one son; Tim (Tricia) Asquith of Hannibal, five grandchildren; Lee Gilmore, Dylan (Tobi) Gilmore, Corey (Arien) Gilmore, Kody Asquith and Kameron Asquith, two great grandchildren; Blaire Gilmore and Callahan Gilmore, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; William Robert Asquith and two sisters; Nancy Goodhart and Joanna Kay Moss.
Tom was a lifetime area resident and a Baptist by Faith. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army, obtaining the rank of specialist 5. After returning home Tom would work several careers including building on the Clarence Cannon Dam, local brick plant, Stuart feed store, Grandview Nursery and Yancey Auto Parts. He was a 50 year member of the Lick Creek Masonic Lodge #302 and a lifetime member of the VFW. Tom enjoyed spending his time fishing, shooting, watching boxing, researching genealogy and admiring old pictures but most of all he enjoyed time spent with grandchildren and especially telling them stories from the past.
Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
