John W. Juette, age 80, of Quincy, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 4:02 a.m. in his home.

John was born on July 29, 1944 in Quincy, the son of Russell and Evelyn Spilker Juette. On March 25, 1978 he married Sharon Keim in St. Louis, MO. She survives.

John was a 1962 graduate of Quincy High School. He owned and operated Quincy Foundry and Pattern for over 50 years, until his recent retirement.

John was a member of Quincy Country Club for 42 years, where he claimed the men’s golf championship twice, through his skill and his competitive nature. His athleticism extended to bowling, where he achieved the rare feat of rolling two perfect games as part of an 800 series.

John was also a familiar face at the South Side Boat Club, the North Side Boat Club, and the Elks Lodge, communities where he built lasting friendships and shared many good times. He had a passion for fishing and spent countless peaceful hours by the water.

For many years, John and Sharon enjoyed winters in Florida, where they found a second home and forged many strong friendships. They were also active members of The Crossing.

I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. – Timothy 4:7
