JUDITH MARIE MALLETT
Mrs. Judith Marie Mallett, age 84, of La Grange, MO passed away, Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 2:05 a.m. at Blessing Hosptial in Quincy, IL.
She was born November 2, 1939 in Hannibal, MO a daughter of Kenneth Eugene and Mildred Charlotte Howell Bozarth. She married Donald Lee Mallett on May 29, 1960 in Hannibal, MO. He survives.
Judy was a long time member of the La Grange Christian Church and 45 year member of Chapter B.O. of P.E.O. La Grange, MO. She loved to read, cross stitch and paint, and her biggest joy were her grandkids and great grandkids.
Judy was the office manager for American Family Insurance in La Grange for many years working for both Jerry Bean and Mark Reinebach.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Mallett of La Grange; two sons, Doug (Brenda) Mallett of La Grange and Derek (Tasha) Mallett of Oakton, VA; and Lenae (James) Steele of Canton; six grandchildren, Alex (Evan) Hultz of Palmyra, MO, Wade (Emma) Hultz of Canton, MO, Leah Hultz of Liberty, IL, Drew Mallett of La Grange, Aviaq Nielsen and Annika Mallett of Oakton, VA; seven great grandchildren, Dreighton, Delanie, Zayn, Zander all of Palmyra, Cali of Canton, Nyla and Maggie of Liberty; one brother, Keith (Marilyn) Bozarth of Houston, TX; one sister, Barbara Brown of Hannibal, MO and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Kenneth (Duke) Bozarth Jr. and Matthew Bozarth, sister, Linda Bozarth and daughter in law, Susan Mallett, sisters in law, Ruth Ella Roberts and Gloria Wucinich.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Marshal Conklin officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, La Grange, MO. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a P.E.O. service at 12:45 p.m.
The family suggests memorials be made to the La Grange Christian Church or to Chapter B.O., P.E.O. in care of Davis Funeral Home, P.O. Box 146, La Grange, MO 63448
