Funeral services for Keith Pease, 67, of Vandalia, will be at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Keith’s Farm located at 34345 highway P outside Vandalia with pastor Randy McDonald Officiating. Burial will take place in the Vandalia cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at the farm.
Mr. Pease passed away at 10:36 PM, Saturday, June 21, 2025 at his home surrounded by family.
He was born October 16, 1957 in Mexico the son of William Wayne Pease and Doris Darlene Haverich Pease.
Keith married Janie Oberhaus on April 22, 1978 at Mt. Olivet Church south of Vandalia and she survives.
Other survivors include one brother; Eddie Pease of Laddonia, two sisters; Jeanine McEvers of Bluffs, IL, and Lanette (Jim) Goldsborough of Jacksonville, IL, along with nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Keith was a Lifetime area resident and Christian by faith. He was a 1976 graduate of Van-Far High School and always a very active member of his community. Keith worked for several years at NARCO Refractories until its closure. Farming was always a large part of Keith’s life whether that may be working for another farmer, farming for himself, or teaching his knowledge on to his nephew Dustan Pease. He always took great pride in his work as well as his black Angus cattle. Keith could be seen many times riding his Harley Davidson or working on his 1965 Chevy. He was a great friend to many and always willing to help where he could.
Pallbearers will be Chad Reading, Jordan Robinson, Jason Erdel, Michael Luebrecht, Brett Reading and Russell Reading.
Honorary pallbearers will be Eugene McDonald, Jimmy Robinson, George Riley, and Ed Babb.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Vandalia Cemetery in care of Bienhoff Funeral Home, PO Box 54 Vandalia, MO 63382.
