Michael K. “Mike” Heck – Hansen-Spear

Michael K. “Mike” Heck, age 56, of Quincy, died on Monday, February 17, 2025 at 11:37 a.m. in Dallas TX.

Mike was born July 7, 1968 in Quincy, a son of Marion and Vivian Phelps Jackson. In June of 2022 he married Casadie Winner in First Baptist Church in Quincy. She survives.

Mike earned his certification in computer networking from the Dallas Technical Institute in Texas. He also received a CDL from Vehria Trucking in Wisconsin. He had been employed at a long haul driver for the past several years. In his spare time, Mike was a voracious reader who enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.

In addition to his wife, survivors include two step-children: Aubrey Lewis and Jaeden Winner of Quincy; his mother, Vivian Elaine (David Allen) Wallace of Quincy; three uncles: Marvin (Irene) Jackson of Amarillo, TX; Andy Jackson of Canyon City, CO; and David Jackson of Colorado Springs, CO; an aunt, Lola Jackson of Colorado Springs, CO; a great-aunt, Violet Elaine Shelton of Winnetka, IL; and two cousins: Ben Shelton of Winnetka, IL; and Matt Shelton of FL.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Marion Jackson and an aunt, Marjory Jackson.

Visitation: 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.

Service: 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with Rev. Orville B. Jones officiating. Cremation will follow.
