Wayne E. Feldkamp — Davis Funeral Home
Wayne E Feldkamp, age 85, of LaGrange, Missouri was called home on 12:13 a.m., Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO.
Wayne was born February 23, 1939, near LaGrange a son of Carl W. and Dorothy L. Ludwig Feldkamp. He married Mary Goodwin on November 27th, 1974 in Hannibal, MO. They had one son CL (Ashley) Feldkamp. Wayne had three children from a previous marriage, Bryan Hall (Loretta) Feldkamp, Brenda Kay Johnston and Barbara Jane Hillman. He was a lifelong member of the St Peter’s Lutheran Church in LaGrange.
Wayne managed LaGrange Lumber yard until 1973 he then worked at Gardner Denver LaGrange for many years. After that he became an Owner Operator OTR truck driver for nearly 3 decades. Wayne also enjoyed breeding, training, and showing horses; raising cattle; and coon hunting. He was a founding board member of the Lewis County 4H Agriculture Fair.
Survivors include his wife Mary, son CL (Ashley) Feldkamp and grandson Bryan Wayne, daughter in-law Loretta (Bryan Hall) Feldkamp and granddaughter Ruth Ellen. Two daughters Brenda Kay Johnston, grandson Nicholas; Barbara (Dale) Hillman. Sister Janet (Glenn) Sittig and brother Lewis Gene (Diane) Feldkamp and numerous nieces and nephews. Wayne was preceded in death by his son, Bryan Hall, parents, four brothers, Paul, Donald, Earl and Leon; and one sister, Ruth Feldkamp.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in La Grange with Pastor Jacob Hercamp officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, January 24, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home in La Grange.
